Questions over business deals of UN climate change guru Dr Rajendra Pachauri

The head of the UN's climate change panel -- Dr Rajendra Pachauri --
is accused of making a fortune from his links with 'carbon trading'
companies, Christopher Booker and Richard North write.

The Telegraph, UK
Sunday, December 20, 2009
No one in the world exercised more influence on the events leading up
to the Copenhagen conference on global warming than Dr Rajendra
Pachauri, chairman of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate
Change (IPCC) and mastermind of its latest report in 2007.

To his Pastor- from Mike G 15 December 2009

Dear Pastor,

In last evening’s service, I heard you request prayer for the Copenhagen conference and that you weren’t sure what to make of it. I felt moved to send you some information about what this “climate change” agenda is really all about and why we Christians need to be in intercessory prayer against it.

Back around 1995, I read Michael S. Coffman’s book Saviors of the Earth?, which is subtitled “The Politics and Religion of the Environmental Movement.” At the time, I was fast becoming aware of the push toward world government, but this book was quite an eye-opener about how environmentalism fits into it.

To Various Politicians and the Dominion Post from Phil H 11 December 2009

Glen McDonald in his climate change science defence, says "I am not willing to condemn two highly talented and dedicated scientists without a full accounting". It's not just two, and falsifying scientific research and illegally concealing data and abusing influence to destroy the careers of those who disagree with you, would be a pretty cut and shut case if it concerned business men or doctors or other professionals.

To every Politician in NZ and Australia from Malcolm R

Dear Madam or Sir,

It is in your interests to look at….

…before NZ signs up for one world communist government - the Copenhagen Treaty.

Computer hackers last week reportedly hacked computers at the Climate Research Unit, CRU, the provider of temperature data used by the UN IPCC. The CRU's head, Professor Phil Jones has personally confirmed in an interview that hacked materials spread on the internet are authentic.

To John Key, Nick Smith, Anne Tolley from Alan N 1 December 2009

How can you justify passing the ETS bill which is supposed to be the means of reducing CO2 in the atmosphere when the amount you are talking about amounts to 0.8% of the total atmospheric CO2 worldwide and 0.04% of the total greenhouse effect. Water vapour accounts for 95% of the total effect, CO2 accounts for 3.4%, other gasses make up the rest. The total greenhouse component amounts to 1% of the atmosphere. What effect do you honestly think reducing such a small portion of this will achieve in altering climate change?

Greenhouse gases are predominantly made up of water vapour... Practical example to be seen world wide: Winter cloud cover at night = No frost (Clouds retain heat) Therefore, no clouds = frost (heat loss)...

CO2 and methane are not 'Greenhouse' gases... And before you answer this email perhaps you should check actual world temperatures in raw data which, despite 'manipulation' by scientist, the UN and Al Gore and his cronies, do not show any global warming let alone anything man-made!

To John Key from Les H 25 November 2009

Hi John
We are wondering whether you have been briefed on the major scandal (dubbed “Climategate”) that has enveloped the Hadley Centre (University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit) over the last few days, whereby 61 megabytes of hacked data and emails has been posted on the internet.

This information appears to show unequivocally “that scientists manipulated data to bolster their argument that global warming is genuine and is being caused by human actions.”

To Nick Smith from Neil H 29 November 2009

Dear Minister
It is with considerable horror that I have learned that a senior Minister was unaware of the unfolding Climategate allegations at the time the ETS amending legislation was being debated. It includes accusations against Dr. Jim Salinger who worked at NIWA at the time. This begs the question as to how many others were also unaware. Were you aware of Climategate at the time of the debate?
If you were, why did you not put the Bill on hold and delay the the start date of the existing Act until a full independent review of the allegations could be made?

To Nicky Wagner (National MP) from Tony O 27 November 2009

Sorry Nicky.
Kyoto seems just a lot of hogwash, notwithstanding that we should be vigilant on all matters environmental.
I rate my self as green (not looney green) and was involved in Save Manapouri campaign in 1970s plus others over the years.
Environmental neglect is shown by recent disclosure of Manawatu River's state of pollution. Nor is it the only   one, which is shocking in a country with a population just less than greater Sydney!
